The Belgian festival tops DJ Mag's Top 100 Festivals 2022

Tomorrowland has been voted the voted World’s No. 1 Festival in the DJ Mag Top 100 Festivals poll 2022.
In the first poll since 2019, and returning as a Top 100 as opposed to the previous list of 50, over 100,000 verified votes were counted in the 2022 Top 100 Festivals poll from the 5th to the 26th October 2022.
Since launching in 2005, Belgium's Tomorrowland festival has pushed the boundaries of production, imagination and curation. After cancelling the event and hosting digital festivals during the coronavirus pandemic, the flagship event expanded from two to three weekends in July 2022 for "The Reflection of Love", welcoming 600,000 visitors from 200 countries, and hosted its Winter edition in L'Alpe d'Huez in France.
Speaking about the win, Michiel Beers, founder and organiser of Tomorrowland said: “The start of 2022 was challenging. Until February it was still uncertain if Tomorrowland Winter was going to happen or would get cancelled for the third time in row. In the meantime, we were preparing for a very necessary third weekend of Tomorrowland in Belgium, but getting all permits in place was not a given.
"After two unprecedented years and enormous losses, there was absolutely no room for any failure in 2022. But we always kept believing, in our passionate team, the people of Tomorrow, all artists, partners and suppliers all over the world. We never let go of hope and continued to write our stories with healthy ambition, big dreams and positive vibes.
"In the end 2022 turned out to be such a beautiful year, with so many unforgettable moments. We are very grateful for all the love and all the support we received in every way, we could never have done this on our own.
